With support from an Export Market Development Grant (EMDG) I travelled to Dublin to speak at the International Dublin Writer's Festival, and to Chicago to attend the 10th Anniversary Conference of the Women Fiction Writer's Association. Both were very successful with outcomes including my novels now available in two additional international bookshop: The Winding Stair, Dublin and Volumes Bookstore, Chicago. I met some wonderful authors and am inspired by the talent, creativity and generosity of the writers I met and listened to.
Next up is the 28th Annual Conference of the Australasian Association of Writing Programs. in Canberra. I will be presenting an edited version of Appropriation and the Authentic Voice
