What a month and we are only at the beginning of May

OMG where do I begin. Lets start with the Great news - I have been invited to speak at the International Dublin Writers Festival in September. Whoo hoo. I love Ireland! I was last there in 2001 when I took a performance -The Women's Jail Project, to the Dorchas Centre, Mountjoy Prison. It was a sell out and my work was compared to Beckett.

I plan to take advantage of being in the Northern hemisphere and scooting over to Chicago for the Women Fiction Writer's 10th Anniversary conference. Ive applied funding - so fingers crossed

Another highlight is my novel Dancing the Labyrinth was accepted for a BookBub Featured Deal. It may not sound like much but hopefully it will reach a whole new audience of readers.

Last but not least I am edging closer to a finished first draft of DELPHI and will be sending it out to one of my writer friends for the first development appraisal. After a re-draft it will be ready for an ARC run. What is an ARC run? Its where I provide Advanced Reader Copies to a select group of readers to read and then submit a review on Goodreads and / or Amazon. These reviews come out when the novel is released and help to generate promotion. If you would like to be considered for an ARC, please email me

Finally, I have added The Bringer of Happiness to a Booksweep - where you enter the contest for a chance to win over $550 worth of books, including a swag from Oprah's Book club.
